About this job:
The Receptionist welcomes customers into the branch and assists in directing them to the appropriate associate to help with their banking needs.
Additionally, they will operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel.
This role builds customer loyalty and confidence by providing quality service to all clients and callers in friendly, courteous, professional manner.

Maintain educational and professional expertise by completion of relevant on-line or in-house training, and/or through attendance at job related seminars, conferences, and workshops.
Maintain confidentiality of customer account information.
Follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.
Smile to welcome and greet on-site visitors by name in a friendly professional manner, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward to appropriate personnel.
Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward to appropriate personnel or department.
Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information.
Monitor visitor access and issue passes when required.
Cross-sell financial institution products and services as appropriate.
Sign for and distribute packages from delivery.
Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
May maintain fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes.
May order, receive and maintain office supplies.
Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
Assist other departments as time allows.
Qualifications for Success:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Customer service and cash handling skills are preferred.
Must be eager and willing to learn.
