In this position, your responsibilities include contact with Cape Girardeau County property owners, business owners, taxpayers, and their representatives to answer personal and real estate inquiries, via phone and walk-ins.
In addition, you will provide on-going administrative support utilizing assessment data, property records and tax information.
Job Duties:
Assist taxpayers relating to Personal Property and Real Estate, referring more complex questions to the appropriate resources Collects and enters detailed data in system Processes personal property assessments Issues Waivers/Tax Bills Assist with the processing of Assessment Sheets Interacts with customers of varied backgrounds in a professional manner Essential Skills:
Ability to maintain positive customer service skills in all situations Proficient in computer including Microsoft Office and other software Proficient in mathematical calculations Ability to use proper grammar, punctuation and spelling Ability to use independent judgement and perform accurate work while multi-tasking
