Corporate Quality Department provides ongoing support and guidance for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the release of finished products for shipment, tracking of non-conforming materials and products.
Responsible to confirm that all running lines meet required specifications, work with others to set up new projects, confirming the project meets specification requirements by following correct validation procedures, and to make responsible decisions about material and product defects.
Responsible for making sure all technical standards that are used are the most current and up to date.
Responsible to ensure that the control groups we use on projects are correct and that ALL codes we produce are produced on QU until RL through the batch release process.
Final responsibility for release of product within SAP, actually performs this release in customer systems.
Ensure that ANY changes at the site will not affect the quality of the product we output.
Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance programs to meet production technical standards and customer requirements complementary to corporate policies and goals.
Ensure the teams follow established rules for handling quality control systems.
These rules are meant to address quality control events in a timely manner while retaining profitability.
Responsible for approving all packaging materials that have been received along with receiving all proper documents (COA etc) if applicable to the site.
Responsible for approving quality protocols and validations.
Responsible for QA release of packing materials if applicable to the site.
Responsible for approval of applicable SOP's, and SIP ownership.
Administration of GMP at site.
Assign work to other employees under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor, Corporate Quality Department, and Human Resources guidelines.
Provides support, guidance, and training across all departments at the site level on the Quality program including inspecting procedures.
Offers feedback on procedures and makes recommendations for improvements regarding day-to-day quality assurance activities.
Recommend manufacturing or technology aids to enhance quality program with focus on production efficiency.
Assess quality process issues and recommend continual improvements.
Provide training and guidance for new site employees.
Supervise product assembly and inspection to ensure quality accuracy.
Coordinate internal and external quality audits of corporate approved defined controls as needed.
